The burial ground of the Scythian time near the village Zalomi in Kirovohrad region

The article is devoted to the burial ground of the Scythian time near village Zalomi Znamensky district of Kirovograd region in Ukraine. The site is located in the basin Tyasmyn. The excavations of the site were carried out during 1986-1989 by the archaeological expedition of the Kirovograd State Pedagogical Institute, headed by N.M. Bokiy. A total of 98 graves and 1 mound were excavated here. Most of the graves belong to Scythian time. All Scythian burials were carried out in ground pits, only in one case the catacomb was used. Scythian burials of the VI-IV centuries BC are dated. The mound and the rest of the burials belong to the Late Bronze Age. Also during the research near the cemetery was discovered the Scythian village of VI-IV centuries BC.
