The pocket watches in the collection of the Museum of History – the Altemberger House

This article presents one of the typological categories of watches in the collection of The Museum of History — The Altemberger House, namely the pocket watches. At the same time, it highlights the most important technical innovations that have increased accuracy and made the transition from stable clocks to portable watches possible.
